However, business psychologists are also sought after in other sectors and have great opportunities for careers in a wide variety of industries.
While you find suitable employees for vacant positions in HR departments, you can carry out scientific surveys in marketing and then work with your team to convert the results into advertising measures tailored to the target group.
At management consultancies, you will analyze the structures and management of companies and develop recommendations for improvements within the company on this basis. As an external service provider, as a management consultant you can also find qualified employees for vacancies in a wide variety of companies in the HR sector.

What does a business psychologist earn?
As a business psychologist, you can expect a solid salary when you start your career. Depending on your negotiating skills, this is usually between EUR 2,400 and EUR 3,500 gross per month after your Bachelor’s degree. Higher starting salaries are also possible with a Master’s degree.
If you already have several years of professional experience under your belt, it is not uncommon for your salary to jump to around EUR 4,000 to EUR 5,000 gross and even higher. Especially in the areas of personnel and management consulting, you can earn up to EUR 7000 per month as a management executive.
Of course, you also always have the option of starting your own business. A personnel or management consultancy is an excellent choice for this. For most business psychologists, however, this is only relevant later in their career.
How much you will earn when you start your career also depends on a number of criteria such as the size of the company, your negotiating skills, your level of responsibility and professional experience, which you may have already acquired during your studies through various internships or part-time jobs.
